Welcome to the second installment of my super secret behind-the-scenes memoir posts. In this issue I discuss my plan to gather photographic evidence from ground zero: my mother's house. For the first installment, see here:
My memoir is kind of a mosaic—all of the individual vignettes come together to build up a picture. The hope is that these photographs spark memories that help me fill in some of the gaps in the mosaic.

I know the photographs will help because my PhD happens to be on the subject of memory. And one thing we know about memory is that it's much easier to remember things when you have clues.
